I actually found out what this type of product was years ago when I was a young teenager when my mom bought my sister's & I a similar product that we sprayed in the hair at the roots to lift the oil residue. And that was so many years ago & I can't recall exactly how well the results were. I do recall though that it had no scent and it did pretty good at lifting the oil from the roots.
But this product really peeked my interest, so I welcomed the chance to try it out.
We all have to be concerned about keeping our hair clean and the need that we feel to wash it almost daily so that it is not oily.

So on those in between days that you for what ever reason do not shower or wash your hair underneath running water, you know have a choice alternative to keep your hair fresh and oil free & actually giving it new life with shine & bounce. And unlike the use of baby powder that some have used in there hair to clean it which leaves your hair looking white and smells like a baby's bottom. This product's scent is really nice and it is easy to use, and with my review, they leave your hair clean free of oil build up & gave my hair lift again. I was very surprised at how great the Batiste Dry Shampoo did work & clean my hair.

So I began with the Cherry Fragrance Dry Shampoo to give it a try.
You just shake the can vigorously and then spray Batiste into the hairs roots, keeping the nozzle 30cm from the hair's roots and Massage through with fingertips and then Brush hair and style as usual.
I choose the Cherry choice first because I was curious about the scent. It really smelt good and not a strong scent. Just a faint scent that lingered throughout the day and I liked that fact.
I dye my hair and am in need of doing so again. So I was wondering if the Dry Shampoo would go on my hair as a white residue and make my grey areas even more light, until I can dye my hair again. But it didn't and as soon as I started to massage it throughout my hairs roots the sprayed on shampoo that was lightly white, went into my hair and disappeared leaving my hair lighter as I brushed my hair and worked it through the hair.
I was skeptical I haft to say, because I wondered how is it going to rid the oil?
But it sure did. And I actually like this product. Because it does revitalize your hair between washes.
I will use this product & enjoy it's results with ease.
I saved the other can to review next and will bring the pictures & results of it's use into this post as I run this giveaway.

Ok , here are my before & after pictures for using this product from Batiste Dry Shampoo
Oily Hair from a not washing one day with a regular water shampoo
And though you see my thin hair and scalp with my hair needing a color treatment, the oil residue is visible and weighs the hair down from life and bounce
I then shook the can to get the contents mixed inside to spray on
I then sprayed the Cherry Fragrance Dry Shampoo onto my hair roots at the scalp
Holding the can about 6 to 8 inches away from where I sprayed it on.
Yes, you will see a white color when applied
With this scent, but I think when I use the other can of the Dark & Deep Brown which has a hint of color, it may not be white when sprayed on..We will see as I use it in a few days & bring those results & pictures into this post.
Blurry picture here, but I have worked the spray into my scalp with my fingers and now ready to brush my hair and style as usual

I actually like this product & was really surprised at the great results it gave me.
And I wish my post here had a scratch & sniff way to share the scent of this particular
Cherry Dry Shampoo with you because it smells so good. Not strong, just a faint scent that lasted all through the day and so did my hair appearing cleaner, shinier & had more lift.
I will try some of the other scents that Batiste Dry Shampoo has to offer.
I think this product would be great also as gifts in gift baskets.
And I think I will buy some for my daughters up coming birthday.
She loves the vintage hair styles and styles her hair using them to match her vintage clothing she collects or that I make her to enjoy wearing.
I hope you will give this new product a try.
A very tiny bit sprayed on and the can will last you for quite a few uses.
Because whether your hair is long or short like mine, thick or thin like mine.
It still only gets applied to the hairs roots and with the working it through your hair with your fingers massaging it and the brushing it through for distribution, you still use about the same amount from the can.
And it does not matter if you are of young and vibrant age or older like myself because in my opinion this product is for anyone who wants to give your hair clean results without the use of water.
