What are your fondest memories of the Cracker Barrel? Everyone will have some memory of that wonderful place be it young or old, because they have been in business & here pleasing our taste buds for so many wonderful years.
I'm mid age so my first memories were of my family stopping there to dine as we would travel to have our family reunion dinners in other states. Most of the time it was for breakfast as we we were heading toward our destination. And I remember the smell of the bacon as our order came to the table.
And in my own family as we traveled allot during our navy years we would enjoy stopping by the Cracker Barrel for what we called supper here in eastern Tennessee. My then young daughter would always want to hit the toy section to look & my husband let the kid in him come out as he headed towards the candy section to find the candies you use to see in yesteryear days like taffy or horehound rock candy. But me after a good meal enjoyed sitting in their on the good old front porch and rock my cares away in their big old country rockers. Where you can still today the same as years ago still do and rock away. And as you finally would get up to leave from rocking you'd think to yourself "wish I could take that comfy thing home".
Well guess what? Cracker Barrel wants one lucky person to do just that & take one home that they have won here at the great blog site they are sponsoring in a "Cracker Barrel Rocking Chair Giveaway" http://www.crackerbarrel.com/ at the blog of " http://www.thenotsoblog.com/2010/08/cracker-barrel-rocking-chair-giveaway/comment-page-2/#comment-135721 so go here above to one of my favorite blogs and read about this sponsored giveaway by the Cracker Barrel and get your entry in to win this comfy rocker.
