These include tiger headbands, elephant and other Jungle-inspired headpieces that will transform families into their favorite wildlife creatures. The Go Wild! Jungle Fun Dress-Up accessories will be available for use every Thursday night from 5 to 8 p.m. at participating restaurants. The restaurants guests can take pictures of their jungle-dressed kids and make quality, precious memories that they can keep forever.

Thursday nights to feature free dress-up fun for the whole family

Greer, SC – Ryan’s®, HomeTown® Buffet, and Old Country Buffet® are inviting families to explore a new adventure on Thursday Family Nights starting July 2, 2015. And running through the month of August and ending in late August, the buffet restaurants will offer an assortment of fun props including tiger headbands, elephant glasses and other Jungle-inspired headpieces that will transform families into their favorite wildlife creatures. The free Go Wild! Jungle Fun Dress-Up accessories will be available for use in-restaurant every Thursday night at participating restaurants.

“Parents enjoy visiting our restaurants to engage with their children in a family-friendly environment,” said Tom Peterson, Chief Marketing Officer for Ovation Brands®. “At no extra cost, the Go Wild! Jungle Fun Dress-Up accessories are an opportunity for children to spark their creativity and turn family dinner into a fun memorable experience.”

Every Thursday night, families may dress up as a lion, zebra, monkey or other lovable animals with a variety of accessories and props including glasses, ears, headbands and hats. All the accessories are free to use and available first come first serve.  Children may let their imaginations run wild with these jungle-themed props. Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet, and Old Country Buffet encourage families to capture these moments on their own cameras or smartphones to share with friends and loved ones.

Families that take photos of themselves in the Go Wild! Jungle Fun Dress-Up accessories and upload them to the official Facebook pages for Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet, or Old Country Buffet, will have a chance to receive a $25 gift card to the family casual restaurants. Weekly winners will be selected at random between July 2 – August 31, 2015. Photos should be tagged with #GoWildDressUp.

The Go Wild! Jungle Fun Dress-Up will be available in all 318 restaurants through August 31, 2015. Accessories are suitable for children three years and older. Props may vary by location and are only available for in-restaurant use.  

Also on Thursday nights, kids 11 years and younger may eat for just $1.99. The buffet restaurants serve up a variety of home-style meals made fresh for you, along with their dessert bar that is a favorite for kids of all ages.

Don’t feel like making it at home? Visit the buffet restaurants during October, where they’ll be serving up this spooky treat. Creepy Cup of Dirt Yields one serving in a small cup or container Ingredients: Oreo cookies Chocolate pudding Gummy worms 1. Finely chop Oreo cookies into crumbs. (approx. 1 cookie per cup) 2. Place chocolate pudding into the bottom of the cup, leaving a half inch at the top. 3. Sprinkle Oreo crumbs on top of the chocolate pudding. 4. Stick one end of the gummy worms into the Oreo cookies so that a portion of the worm sticks out on top. 5. Place in refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

          My hubby and I just took a lovely Fall car ride the other day here in my beautiful spot of God's lovely state of Tennessee where the Great Smokey Mountains are beginning to reveal the Fall Foliage Color Change as we went to buy all kinds of fresh apples from a nearby grove. Hello there you Boo-tiful and ghostly Readers of mine!!
   Spook night is almost here!!  

        Six nights from now all the little goblins and ghost will put on their creative costumes and tap upon your door for sweet treats to eat!! 
Halloween falls on a Friday night this year Which is next Friday!!!
         I don't even have my candy bought to hand out. Have you bought yours?  We usually have lots of treaters at our door. I love seeing there different costumes. When my daughter was young, together we usually made her outfit she chose, or bought a few later. My grandson was so cute in each of the ones my daughter bought him throughout the years. They even dress up with him and when they dropped in for his treats we just loved finding out what costumes they chose looked like. Let this proud granny share them from over the years past. It is almost Halloween so let these inspire you to go out and have fun!! 
                                                       My grown daughter now is 33yrs 
                                                  But so cute as a clown :)  

                            All grown and enjoying fun costumes with her little one (boy does time fly by!) 
             We loved seeing what they had chosen when they stop by for candy treats I had made.
