I chose to refresh my bedrooms corner nook. I have this vintage dressing vanity that my sister gave me and it has needed attention for sometime. I used it as a storing place for all my stuff that needed putting away, giving away etc. It truly needed attention lol. I needed a place to sit and unwind other than the living-room. 

I wanted a place I could go to sit down and write out, address and send out my love of vintage greeting cards, notes. I just love love collecting vintage greeting cards, envelopes, post cards, etc. And for sometime now I had wished that I had a easy way to store them but yet have them close at hand so I can use them to gift out to others, or in crafts etc.

I saw lots of themed home decor in my nearest TJ Max store that would work great for decors on beach, nautical, vibrant mod bold colors, rustic, and then the home style country theme caught my attention. I just redone my bedrooms bedding and window treatments etc. in mixed colors of rust, tans, and blues. And I wanted to bring in more French country blue color tones, to my rooms decor so it blended well and just made it more fresh and airy.My main theme is and will be shabby chic roses and I won't to introduce more blues to my decor and add in some country nature too such as birds etc.

As I mentioned, my vanity dressing table is darker in color so I hoped to add colors to it that really lightened up the space and make it both functional and fun. With a fresh new look so I can enjoy that space and my love of vintage items.

  I was so tickled when I seen these lovely home decor pieces at TJMax.  I love the look of galvanized tin. And this pretty piece had the pretty robin blue color to the outside of the handled tray which it revealed the silver galvanized tin on the inside.

It was on sale for $9.99! It's big too! I love how I can sit it on top of my vanity and place inside it,my perfume bottles and my other vintage pieces. As well as my oh so fresh scented renuzit pearl scents in the Blue Sky Breeze scent. Oh it smells so fresh and makes my otherwise dark nook, feel open and fresh as though I'm outdoors. The pretty tin tray with handles can also serve as a bed and breakfast serving tray should I wish to use it for that purpose. So here I go with a clean slate to refresh my little nook. 

  Next, I found this beautiful vintage looking table runner. Seriously folks, I'm still swooning over how pretty it really is and all the intricate detail to the crochet edged design.

The fabric is a cotton that looks and feels like vintage sack cloth, the print on it with the birds and nature is so pretty. And better yet, it came inside the prettiest box you could think of that looks perfect in my bedroom and kept as my holder to store my vintage greeting cards. I actually bought the item solely for the boxes use. And even until I got home and opened it up, did I not know just how lovely the runner was inside

. There was also a separation cardboard that is so pretty that was in the box that the table rummer came in and fits my vintage desk top just lovely. It has vintage cards printed on it and I just love it too. This table runner was on sale at $14.99 and for it to be so pretty and accompany the very pretty box of which I can use to house my vintage card collection, was a double deal! 

    I also got this precious note pad for just $2.99! It folds flap shut and has the same bluebird theme that match the blues tones in color to my new  renuzit pearl-scents in the blue sky breeze scent. 
                                            

    This little nook looks so cozy now, and smells so fresh as I pass by the area or as my air condition system comes on and travels that scent throughout the room and home.

                   Every one's taste will vary in what they already know the like in any, food item. And you can also discover through life's journey that your taste buds will change at times and like new flavors in products that you have tested throughout your life and age difference's. Many things can be those changeable and deciding factors as well such as medicines that can alter your taste buds to be stronger or weaker resulting in sometimes no taste at all. My husband just finished chemo a few months ago. During that course in his life, he could barely taste anything. And so he tried to choose foods that were bold in flavor or that had a good crunch so it was something enjoyed. He now is getting his taste pallet back and he enjoyed helping me test this very wonderfully new snack product. For me, I would call this new line of product from Past Chips, many categorized labels of enjoyment such as a snack, an appetizer, or use as a side item with many food choices OR actually within many food recipes to really enhance and add flavor to a dish. They are that great in taste and multi use-fullness, in my opinion. So now, let me share with you below just what I mean by that statement.
With  My #product #review results for each 5 flavors:

I first tested the Alfredo   Pasta Chips This one for me, did indeed start out as my favorite flavor. If  I were to close my eyes and imagine a meal favorite of mine of which I love and feel that is a hearty, healthy and comfort food, it would compare on an even scale of enjoying Chicken Alfredo with creamy noodles in a rich Alfredo sauce. The flavor burst on my pallet and lingers there to please your crave in both a snack and fill you up to hold you over until meal time, yet gave you the feeling you were enjoying a plate of that particular Italian meal. **My suggestion tips for use with this flavor of Alfredo   Pasta Chips "I think it would be ideal enjoyed alone as a snack, or along side of or even chipped over a nice fresh Cesar  salad.

Together..hubby and I both tried out the spicy-tomato-herb. He loved this one! I think most men prefer a spicier snack than women. I thought it tasted just like enjoying a good wholesome bowl of tomato soup that was yet creamy and gave you that extra something on your taste buds. 
**My suggestion tips for use with this flavor of spicy-tomato-herb Pasta Chips "I think it would be really good as an appetizer with cheese on it, any type deli meats, fresh veggies in a dip, or with soups or salads and even as a topping crunched over other pasta dishes. It has the perfect flavors of tomato and spices to serve in any, of those suggestions.
Next we tried the flavors of  Marinara and mediterranean sea salt and oh my goodness! I love the flavor of Marinara in the Pasta Chips. Such a burst of flavor that taste just like dipping into really good rich quality sauce. I would enjoy this one anytime, anywhere and for any reason.

    Next choice reviewed was the flavor of garlic-olive-oil  Pasta Chips and though I thought it was good and gave the exact two flavors for which it's name title carries, it wasn't my favorite simply because I don't eat alot of garlic. I only like hint of garlic in anything I like in meals etc. But you can indeed taste the garlic and olive oil flavor. I like olive oil on my toasted breads etc when I enjoy Italian foods. So this one surely reminded me of a nice warm Italian slice of bread that had both flavors on it to enjoy. Hubby felt about the same way. And he said he thought that it would be great to use as an appetizer cracker with thin meats on it such as Salomi, pepperoni, or even used in a recipe for meatloaf to have that Italian flair favor
Last but not least, the flavor in the mediterranean sea salt was very unique and if you love sea salt on any food item to give it a bold yet enjoyed taste, then, your sure to love that kosher  flavor too.

        We live in eastern #Tennessee. And I know from past experience, that their truly is a different kind of bug, insect, etc. for every single state in the USA. I say that because in our 20 yrs of Naval carrier and moving all around from different state to states. We saw those dreaded fire ants in the deep southern states like South Carolina, Florida, Alabama etc.  And up here in Tennessee, we don't have the fire ants thank goodness! But, the dreadful minuet tiny ants and the big black carpenter ants are just as bad to deal with. And trust me when I say that, you don't have to have a messy house or outside area that brings them in your home or living space either. I always thought the houses that left out food or water supply was a welcome sign for any type ants to just come in and take over. That's not the case. I keep all my staple foods in closed seal tight containers, trash put out and away, counters clean and snacks kept put away. But they will search for anything they might find and head straight back to the big old queen Ant to inform her & other workers. Soon you have a trail from just the path alone that they were searching on and about. I feel they search for water too or dampness near an under sink cabinet etc. Kitchens and bathrooms seem to be our worse areas when we see them on their scouting mission.  And not matter what you do like stomp them, sweep them, swat them, etc. They just come back because UNTIL you kill the ring leader the Queen, they will appear.  So instead of seeing a few and trying to chase them away day after day All summer months long...Treat them with the products that after just as long as two weeks and as short as three days! They will be gone for good. 

      Last year, we had the tiny ants called little-black-ants and they are so tiny you almost need a magnifying glass to see them. I went and bought the  TERRO^® Indoor Liquid Ant Baits for them and after placing it underneath the sink where they traveled from the back door to the sink bottom pipe, I seen how fast they came in a continuous line with tons of them reporting back and forth but taking this product back with them. I sort of panicked thinking oh man, there's more! But hubby said do as the directions suggest Julie, and just ignore them and see if it works. Wow! was I shocked to see that just in two days the line dwindled down to just a few, then none at all! Some even got trapped in the bait box themselves. Here’s why — as ant foragers look for food, they are attracted to the sweet liquid ant bait. Once foraging worker ants find the liquid ant bait, they consume it and drop what is called a ‘trail pheromone’ back to the nest that lets all the other worker ants know where a food supply has been found. This is why you will initially see more ants when using the liquid ant baits. While the active ingredient in the TERRO® Liquid Ant Baits will ultimately kill the worker ant, it sneakily interferes with the ant's digestive system and works slowly enough that the worker has time to get back and share the ant bait with the rest of the colony.

           See, how even from last years liquid bait trap that tiny ants ended up inside to not be a problem for us near our front porch sitting area.

Then we battle the big fat black carpenter ants. Mostly outside and just where you want to enjoy some R&R or peace and quite with letting your feet touch the ground lol.  I hate nothing worse than knowing my feet are put up on chair on my patio simply because I don't want my leg to be there road map while they search about for food or water.

Last great tips for uses with especially the #Terro liquid ant bait packs!

      Most of us just think about using ant control products around or inside our homes, or maybe work spaces. But what about ALL the many other places that ants like to go to??  I like carrying these tiny little genius products with us to SO many other places to control ants and rid the pesty pest! We take them on #vacation when we #camp and whether it's for ants invading the inside of the camper or outside near our tent, I place them about so the ants go a separate trail which leaves us alone and rids them all together! I take them in our boats we use, cabins or hotels that are older and seem to always have issues with the tiny ants.  Near our grill that always drips as you cook. Picnic tables in your yard or at parks where an all day event my take place such as-reunions   etc. Note (of course with any product, use caution as to what or who may come in contact with any type chemicals and use them ONLY as suggested by the companies direction) But I think outside the box when it comes to where you can use this great product and I use common sense in doing so.
